YES I DO MISS HIM...I AM OWNING THAT

I miss my husband. I miss him. I am allowing myself this emotion without beating myself up and with full knowledge that he is not coming home. I miss him, that is it. There is no hidden agenda or longing for days gone by. I am turned toward the horizon and I am stepping foward in God's care. But in this moment, in this season, I miss my husband.

Hello, I came over here from Bottle Blonde and glad I did.
I'm ten years out of divorce, and a single mother of four children.
So I'm here to tell you that you will make it, and your relationship with your ex will transition, and probably even a couple of times over.
Best of luck to you, and take good care of those kiddos!

Hey girl. Again, I feel ya. I've been divorced since 97, and very newly remarried. It IS hard to let go of those feelings. Every now and then my ex passes through my thoughts and I accept that I miss him. It's simple like that, so I understand when you say you miss him, nothing more.

Time will heal your pain. Until then, remember you're in my thoughts and prayers with all you do!

It's a normal emotion. After spending that amount of time with someone, you are definitely bound to miss them.

I'm sure he misses you too, even if he won't admit. It's human nature.

Missing him is good news for you. It means that you can still see the dimensions of him that drew you in the first place. You're not trying to lie and tell yourself it was all bad all the time. That's called insight. Whatever happens will emerge from a place of honesty!
