#25 Poem-A-Day Challenge: You Are Summer

You are without a doubt
a cool breeze
on the hottest day

I stand in the doorway
not fully in and not fully out
just letting that
feel good blow over me

You are summer everyday

Endless sunny days
welcomed heat upon my skin
cool things to drink for a thirsty soul

I sit in the Spring
thinking of your hello
and the warmth
that brings.
