As I step into the space of creativity and spirituality during this Lenten Season I am whole heartedly embracing my church's Lenten Commitment 2009.
During the season of Lent, 2009,
I commit to giving a gift to God, the church, my household,
community and world
by making space and time in my life to explore the
creative spirit within me.
I promise to spend time in prayer and listening as
I imagine and create.
I promise to be open to discovering new creative instincts and gifts.
I promise to persevere when the project is difficult or my creativity feels blocked.
I promise to follow new ideas where they lead me
without fear or judgement.
I commit to share this journey with atleast on
other person at church, and to be open to the
possibility of sharing my project and/or
conversation about it with the whole congregation
at the end of the Lenten season.

I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE this Lenten journey. Creativity and spirituality. As The Creator, God gave us unbelievable capacity to be creative, and I believe He's happy when we understand our own unique creativity.
This is fascinating reading, Lovebabz. I leave for vacation soon, and I am trying to stay away from the computer while I'm there. So if I don't come by soon, know that I'll catch up when I return. :-)
