SATURDAY SATURDAY SATURDAY

I am cleaning and listening to my favorite music at FULL BLAST! I am a nester. I am a home body. I love tinkering about the house working on things. Today is perfect for that.

I am wearing my favorite brim...yes my summer brim...it was on the hall tree and will go upstairs to the closet until next summer...however in the meantime, I am wearing it because I look HOT in it!

I am doing major cleaning and rearranging as I turn my attention toward the holidays. First up Thanksgiving! I pulled out the "real" silver to polish--will do that later. Of course I will use my china from my Mother and pull out all my fabulous glasses. I love getting ready for the holidays!

I love not having any place to be today except home. The children are cleaning their rooms and playing. Occasionally I have to referee a spat or soothe hurt feelings, but for the most part they are a fine tuned team. I can hear them in their conversations and whispers and giggles.

Having 4 children is delightful. They are never with out company. And I am never without lots of children. Who needs a date when I have all this love and contentment around.

Hey Babz!!!

It is Saturday, and it is a GREAT thing not to have to get out in the street and rip and run all over the place!

Today I woke up and laid in the bed for awhile. I crocheted for an hour while watching the news channels. I washed dishes, washed clothes and cleaned a whole MESS of collard greens. (Girl, I got 3 bunches for $2.50. I know you not a southern girl, but that's a GREAT deal). Those are slow cooking on the stove with some good smoked turkey. I am currently folding clothes, and may do a little writing.

This is a good day indeed. All I need is a brim like yours! lol

Need more days like this!

You continue to enjoy yours:)

Sister Ladylee,

Girl I am feeling you. This has to be one of the best days ever.

Those greens sound MAGICAL! I love collard greens...gosh I wish I was closer, I would run over for a POT! LOL!

Dishes are done, kids are doing their laundry. I am listening to music and will settle down to write this evening.

Enjoy the day!

another reason why we clicked.

it was storming yesterday, so juan and i layed in bed listening to the rain and wind, then around 8am, ladybug hopped in bed and we all snuggled. then they had to go to track practice, and i had the whole house to myself for 3 hours!! LOVELY! i made chili, and some more cards (yes, some for you too!)

i fiddled around doing nothing really. the the fam came home, soaking wet, so i made hot chocolate for us, and we watched a netflix and played monopoly. then... a rainbow showed up and ladybug loved it!

that's all to report ;)

Hello! It's been a while. I've been in a bit of a funk but feel much better now.

Oh, I love those days! I work full time and really value my days around the house; especially time in the kitchen, cooking and drinking tea with the radio on.

I hope all is well with you!
