VALENTINE'S DAY EVE

Valentine's Day is one of my FAVORITE holidays!  A day devoted to LOVE LOVE LOVE!  Yes, I know all the anti-lovers are whining about the commercialism of the holiday, the expense, the running around for gifts, candy and of course flowers.  I ignore THOSE folks because as Hallmark expresses in their new campaign...It's a day not to celebrate you, but a day to say I love US.  BEAUTIFUL!

Seriously, aside from all the forced romantic overkill, love has its place and although many us express our love for one another everyday I wanted to share my favorite defining verse on the subject.  Believe me it doesn't get any better than Corinthians 13: 1-13.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 -

Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.
