It is a default position when the result of any relationship is "less than good".<br /><br />One of the few times in my life where I found myself stuck in the fugue between letting go and moving on was in my starter marriage. Early after our divorce, I thought that I hated her, and I realized that the thought of hating her was adding weight to my life, slowing me down.<br /><br />Hating is a coward's move. It is a shift in responsibility from the self to outside of the self, and from these spiritual speakers and their words, that to allow for something outside of the self to make decisions and affect our choices is a form of denial.
